I am Alfreda Lockett Evans,  a Holy Ghost-filled Christian writer, Evangelist, and Prophetess who believes in the unadulterated Word of God.  I was saved and baptized with the Holy Ghost and with fire at twenty-nine years of age at Full Gospel Holy Temple Church in Dallas, Texas.  My late pastor, Apostle Lobias Murray, and his late wife, Dr., and Evangelist Shirley Murray, taught me all I know about living for the Lord.  My current pastor is their anointed grandson, Apostle H. L. Murray, Jr., and his wife is Lady Daniele Murray.

At Full Gospel, we believe that Holiness is not a denomination but God’s standard of living.  We further believe that Holiness is Still Right.  My life, my teaching, preaching, and writing reflect the standards that we live by:

What We Believe

We Believe…

  • In the verbal inspiration of the Bible.
  • In one God eternally existing in three persons; namely, the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
  • That Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost, and born of the virgin Mary. That Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead; that He ascended to heaven and is today at the  right hand of the Father as the intercessor.
  • That all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, and that repentance is commanded of God for all and necessary for forgiveness of sins.
  • That justification, regeneration, and the new birth are wrought by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.
  • In sanctification subsequent to the new birth, through faith in the blood of Christ; through the Word; and by the Holy Ghost.
  • Holiness to be God’s standard of living for His people.
  • In the baptism of the Holy Ghost subsequent to a clean heart. In speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance, and that it is the initial evidence of the baptism of the Holy Ghost.
  • In water baptism by immersion, and all who repent should be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.
  • Divine healing is provided for all in the atonement.
  • In the Lord’s supper and washing of the Saints’ feet.
  • In the premillennial second coming of Jesus. First to resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living Saints to Him in the air. Second, to reign on the earth a thousand years.
  • In the bodily resurrection; eternal life for the righteous and eternal punishment for the wicked.
  • In dressing in modest apparel according to I Timothy 2:9-10 and I Corinthians 11:14-15; and also Deuteronomy 22:5.

Alfreda Evans is a Holy Ghost-filled Christian writer and Evangelist who believes in the unadulterated Word of God. “The books that I write speak openly about the reality of a true and living God. It is not only possible to have a real-life relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father, it is mandatory that we do so. It is my desire that through my books others will be saved, sanctified and filled with the Holy Ghost.”

  3. Hello, my name is Ginette Foli. I was researching the prophesied return of Israel to their land in the last days and came upon your writing about An Ancient Bible Prophesy: The Final Return of the Jews to Their Homeland. The information you provided was excellent and will help me to better teach about the restoration of Israel. I read your statement of faith and I believe everything that you believe except for the gift of tongues. I also do not believe women can be Pastors. I would very much love to get any materials you post on your blog. I have been teaching the Word of God for approximately 35 years. I am French Canadian and speak both French and English. I was born again at the age of 31 and I am now 76. God has been gracious to me in providing knowledgeable mentors who have discipled me and the Holy Spirit has enabled me to discern which authors I can trust as I continue to grow in my walk with our Lord. It is encouraging to find someone who is obeying “The Great Commision.” Thank you so much!

    1. Hello Ginette. I am thrilled to hear that information in one of my posts has been helpful to you. I’m just excited to know that someone is reading what God gave me.

Ginette, I was saved and filled with the Holy Ghost at age 29 and am now almost 78 yrs., so we have about 45 plus years of salvation in common. I’ve spoken in tongues since the Lord filled me in 1975, so I know its real. It’s OK that we don’t agree on this subject, but I know how much you would be enriched if you would open your heart to God’s way in this matter. Please read, listen to and see the video related to being filled with the Holy Ghost in this post: The Promise, Purpose and Power of the Holy Ghost. I know you will love it if you’d just allow God to bless you in this way. It has indeed made the difference in my walk with Christ.

As for women pastors, God has used roosters, Jack asses and strong winds to convey His message in the Word of God, so why not us women? I am not a Pastor, but if He should choose this path for my life I promise you I would not hesitate in doing the will of Him that sent me. I would not dare tell Him that He is wrong. Though not a pastor, I have been a street preacher for several years and have seen the lives of many changed in my ministry.

Please feel welcome to join my list of followers at the end of any post. Just scroll down towards the end of the page of any post and click on the follower tab. You have access to any of the 200+ posts and 50+ podcasts in my blog.

Let’s stay in touch Ginette. I love you with the love of the Lord. AL Evans.

  4. Hello,
I came across this site searching for teachings about the adulterous woman in proverbs, where some online posts have equated this to the snares of this world, seducing people which is the highway leading to death and destruction.
Rather than simply literal adultery? That it may be a parable within a proverb.

You mention about preaching on proverbs 6, is there any recording of this sermon apart from the podcast, otherwise the written sermon?

I admit I’m a bit wary as you describe yourself as a prophetess of God , as Christ warned about false prophets.

Also, do you have any sermons regarding the meaning of the cross and of Christ’s atoning sacrifice?

I tried the link to website but did not proceed as it warned site on secure.

    Thank you.
    Kind regards
    C.loi

    1. Hello Sis. Carolin. Thank you for commenting on my post. It is highly possible that the adulterous woman of Proverbs has meaning beyond literal adultery. However, my blog shares how God gave the interpretation to me. I believe that it is very important to share the dangers of sin because it is sin that sends our souls to hell. If we do not put a literal “tag” on sin many people will miss the point and wind up in that awful place. I am a little evangelist, teacher and prophetess who simply uses my blog and podcast to share my experiences in God with others. I wish that I could tell you that this message was recorded and available in places other than the blog and podcast, but that is not the case. So sorry.

I also understand your reluctance in believing that I am a prophetess. Caution is alway a good idea. However, I know who I am because God told me who I am. The title does not make me anything great, because I’m not. It simply makes me responsible for what He tells me to say, when He tells me to say it. I am also required to live a life that backs up my words. I remember on one occasion, early in my ministry, I complained to God saying, “They don’t believe anything that I say.” He responded to me and said, “Get in line with the rest of the prophets. They didn’t believe them either.” There was a real sense of humor displayed in God’s comments to me so I have learned to just laugh it off when others don’t believe me. Remember, I never said that I am anything great because I’m not. I simply live a holy life before God, knowing that He leads and guides me daily. All glory and honor go to Him for anything that is accomplished in my life.

This blog is comprised of a total of 240 or so messages, testimonies and teachings. Give me a little time and I will reference for you the one that specifically and clearly address the issues that you asked about. My messages are presented here because God told me to write them. Some of my messages have been preached in small churches, in Nursing homes, and on the streets of Dallas, Texas. Many of the messages lift Jesus up as the atoning sacrifice for us all. I am also certain that the majority discuss the Cross of Calvary. This is the link to my blog. http://www.strollingthrougharosegardencalledlife.blog. I’m not sure of what site-on-secure means but it is my prayer that you will have no difficulty accessing it. Please let me know if you do.

My personal testimony is written in the opening of my blog which is entitled “Hello World” and it presents my salvation story very openly. I am a Christian writer, a retired nurse of 58 years who is still very active in my church as the President of our Nurses Guild and a simple woman who loves GOD with my whole heart. If you have any trouble finding an answer to your questions please let me know that as well. I have been a member of Full Gospel Holy Temple church for 50 years. Here is a link to our website: http://www.FGHT.org. My Pastor is Apostle Herman L. Murray, Jr. and our Services are livestreamed on Sunday morning, and evening, Tuesdays and Saturdays. We believe that Holiness Is Still Right! Let’s stay in touch. God bless you is my prayer.

      1. Sis. Carolin, when you first reach my blog there is a section at the very top that is titled All Posts by Category 2011-2021. If you click on that line a page will open that gives you the titles of each of the posts in the blog through 2021. I will be updating that segment soon to include the posts from 2021 to 2025. I believe that you might find specific titles that interest you.
