In previous posts, we have included testimonies to build faith in God for deliverance from drugs, thoughts of suicide and sin.  Today’s post includes a powerful testimony of a young woman who was delivered from two extremely damaging and painful conditions, Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) and Fibromyalgia.

RA is an autoimmune condition whose exact cause is not known.  The individual’s body is said to attack itself and cause joint swelling, pain, and stiffness.  There are also general physical symptoms such as fatigue and muscle pain. Over time there is worsening pain and it can result in permanent damage to joints.

Fibromyalgia, also known as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, is a much more generalized condition whose diagnosis is often long and frustrating.  The symptoms are variable and often discounted by the medical profession.  Anyone suffering from the condition knows how painful and confusing it can be.  Some common symptoms include fatigue, muscle aches, joint stiffness and pain, headaches, memory problems, brain fog, anxiety and depression.   One online Fibromyalgia Support Group shares stories of individuals whose lives are so severely impacted that they contemplate suicide.  There is no known cause or cure, although some believe that Fibromyalgia can be triggered by severe trauma.

The really devastating truth is that both conditions may occur at the same time in one person.  There are many theories about the cause, effects, associated symptoms and treatment methods for both of these conditions.  To know that God is a Healer who is well able to conquer even conditions as severe as RA and Fibromyalgia is welcomed, life-changing, good news.  Read the story of one young woman who was healed of both conditions by the Power of Almighty God.  Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt..Matt. 15: 28

God is Still in the Healing Business

We all go through trials and tribulations in life; I know from experience that the word “test” was included in “testimony” and “testify” for a reason. Three years ago, I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and Fibromyalgia. The problems came at the same time that I moved to Texas just to join the church, Full Gospel Holy Temple, based in Dallas. My wrist, fingers, knees, and ankles began to swell.  I truly did not understand what was happening in my body and I went to the doctor over and over because I could not find any relief. I recall screaming in agony some nights, and not even wanting to get out of my bed because the pain was so overwhelming. Although I felt a little discouraged, I truly kept my faith in God. Through the sleepless nights, the unbearable pain, and joint swelling, in 2017 God healed my body from Rheumatoid Arthritis.

My Fibromyalgia was brought on during an accident, where I was hit so hard in my vehicle it ejected me from my seatbelt into the windshield.  I passed out from the impact and my car caught on fire.  I came to just in time to open my car door and escape. I passed out again on the highway.

God kept me as I battled with Fibromyalgia, but I can truly say God has healed my body from Fibromyalgia this year. Yes, there were times that I did not think I was going to make it, and yes, there were days that I couldn’t walk, but through prayer, fasting, going to the altar for my Apostle and First Lady to touch in agreement with me, I can truly say I am a living testimony that God is a healer.

During my battle with Fibromyalgia I received over twelve surgeries and treatments to inject pain relievers in my spine.  The doctor had me on the maximum amount of pain relievers including Morphine, Dilaudid, Zanaflex, and Gabapentin. My dose of medication was equivalent to twenty-five Hydrocodone tablets.  I fell to my knees daily and cried out to God to heal me.

My first step in being healed was to stop the medication.  I gradually began to dump my meds down the toilet because I felt it was only masking my pain and I never wanted to become reliant on any medication. The doctor told me that I had lost all the reflexes in my leg.   An MRI revealed that I had severe damage from Arthritis eating away at my spinal disc.   I was told that eventually, I would lose all feelings in my leg.  But I kept praying and rubbing anointing oil on my legs. I was even told by one of the mothers in church to drink a capful of oil.

When I look back over what God has done in my life, my soul rejoices. Going through this trial for over three years has decreased me and increased God in me. On several occasions, I would cry out to God and my mind would go back to the Bible about how God healed the woman with the issue of blood (Matt. 9:20-22) and how He raised Lazarus from the dead (John 11: 44).  I felt that if God did it for them, I had no doubt that He would do it for me.

Today I can go for walks, I am able to cook again, able to enjoy spending times with my husband and children.  I truly am praying for anyone fighting with RA and Fibromyalgia because it is painful, but we serve a God that answers Prayer and still is in the Healing business.

Beloved hearts, testimonies build faith. It is my desire that anyone reading this testimony will get a stronghold on Faith and believe God for deliverance. I pray that you have been blessed by this testimony and that you will give your heart to the Lord, determine to live for Him, then get into a Bible-believing church where the power of God is moving, just as it did in the Bible days.  I would like to invite you to my church and the church of the young woman of this testimony.  It is Full Gospel Holy Temple Church, headquartered in Dallas, TX.  The Pastor is Apostle Herman Lobias Murray, Jr.  We are located at 39727 LBJ Freeway in Dallas. Our services are held on Sundays at 9:45 A.M. (Sunday School) and 11:00 A.M.  (Morning Worship), and Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday nights at 7:30 P.M.  Visit our website at www.FGHT.org and follow us on YouTube.  May God bless you all.
