A few weeks ago our church went on a three-day consecration to pray and seek the face of the Lord. We expected Him to break yokes, meet needs and we intended to submit ourselves the more for His service. The evening before the fast ended I was sitting in my favorite chair, coming out of a nap. (Wonderful place that place halfway between sleeping and being awake). As I opened my eyes, I felt and saw a warm and gentle rain. I “heard” in my spirit “Showers of Blessings”. I received that Word gladly for all of the Saints of God as well as myself. Then I saw another rain cloud that was a beautiful but smaller cloud. It looked like it was made of spun gold. Warm gentle golden drops were falling from this cloud and I heard “Anointing”. I again received it gladly for the Saints. Tonight, in my time with the Lord, He explained to me what the special gold cloud meant. Hopefully, this will be a great encouragement to the older Saints of God.
The Lord told me to encourage those of us who have entered into our Golden Years of 65 and above. Many of us have been saved for years and are beginning to grow weary in our bodies. But the Lord wants us to know that He is not finished with us yet. He is going to heal our bodies, strengthen our minds and anoint us to do the work that He has called us to do. He has invested Himself into some of our lives for decades and He is ready to use us for His glory and honor. Rejoice older Saints, for we have come forth as pure gold. Let’s walk into our season, for our time has come. Just watch what the Lord is going to do.
