An Invitation to Salvation through Repentance

Saints of God, I was recently asked by a young Saint to help her with witnessing to her family.  I prepared this post to help her with a handy tool in witnessing to others.  I would like you to consider using it in compelling others to get into the ark of safety before they leave earth.  My heart cries because so many have already died at the hand of the Coronavirus who did not have the Lord in their lives.  Let’s you and I attempt to reach as many people as possible.  While we are sheltering-in-place we have a captive audience of the sheltered-in-place.  Perhaps they will now take the time to read a short salvation message, respond and be saved.  Many are scared, confused and looking for an answer.  Others may be in denial.  This is not an attempt to scare anyone into salvation.  It is an attempt to open their eyes to the truth of their dire situation. This could also be the answer to the cry of their hearts.  Please feel free to use this short invitation in any way that you deem appropriate.  Suggestions are to e-mail, text, send through Messenger and all other social media.  I plan to send it throughout the world through podcasts, this blog and through YouTube.  Feel free to reproduce it and use it in any way that you can.  We must get to the unsaved before its too late.

  

Dear  Friend,

COVID-19 is causing many people in the world to die suddenly.  While it is my prayer that you and your household will be safe from it, I encourage you to get into the ark of safety before it is too late.  This is an emergency message sent to you by God, our Heavenly Father.  Many people believe that COVID-19 is a conspiracy of sorts and may disregard this message for that reason.  The bottom line is, however, regardless of the source of COVID-19 people are dying in great numbers without Christ.  The church is about to be raptured out of here and, if you do not have Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you will be left behind.  COVID-19 is just an indicator of the imminent rapture of the church that is soon to follow.

This invitation to salvation is a lifeline for entrance into the Kingdom of Heaven at the end of this life, whether that is sooner or later.  Please read this letter of invitation quickly and follow its instructions.  I encourage you to do it now rather than later.  You will be eternally grateful that you did.

1.  Recognize that you are a sinner who needs Salvation

Romans 3:23 (KJV)  For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

1 John.1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

2.  Trust that God loves you and He wants you to be saved.

 John 3:16   For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

3.    Salvation comes by grace and not works

Ephesians 2:8-9  For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

4.   We are saved only through Jesus Christ

Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;”

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

5.   Believe on Jesus

John 11:25-26  Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: {26} And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die.

Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

10  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

6.   Receive Jesus

Revelation 3:20  Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice,    and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:”

7.    When you are saved you become a brand new creature

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

8.    Receiving the Holy Ghost gives you power over sin

 Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

 9.    God gives the Holy Ghost to them that ask for it.

Luke 11:9-10  And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.

¹⁰For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

 10.  Humble yourself before God and pray a simple prayer

1 Peter 5:6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:

 If you will pray this simple prayer and mean it with all of your heart you will be saved.  The words are provided for you but only you can give them meaning.

Father, I’m sorry that I sinned against you.  I accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.  Save me, Lord.  If you save me I will commit my life to live for you forever.  Fill me with the Holy Ghost that I might live according to the way you would have me to live.  Thank You Lord for saving me.
