Introduction

Hebrews 9:13-14 (KJV)

13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:

14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Old Testament priests were directed to offer up the blood of rams and lambs to receive forgiveness for the sins of the people.  First, the most perfect animal had to caught.  It had to be free of spots or blemishes before it could be offered up to God for the sins of men.  Can you imagine how it would be if we still had to do that today?  Would you be able to go out and find a flawless animal, wrestle it down, tie it up and then sacrifice it up to God for your sins?  No, we would all be lost under that system.

The Old Testament system under the Law was a type or example of something that was to come.  In the New Testament, we have a new Covenant or contract with God in which Christ Jesus became that sacrifice for us.  We thank God that He developed a better plan.   God gave His Only Begotten Son so that the blood of Jesus was offered only once for your sins and mine.  Jesus died that we might live and His precious blood was shed for you and I. When sinners repent, Jesus takes that precious blood sacrifice and applies it to the sin-sick soul.  Then, when Our Heavenly Father, looks at us, He no longer sees our sins.  He sees us through the Holy, perfect and sin-free blood of His Son.  Those of us who are saved have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus.

What I am about to share is a revelatory dream that God gave me concerning the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.  There are some people who may disagree that God does still speak to individuals in dreams and visions but He certainly does. Prophets and Prophetesses are still active today.  Why He chooses certain ones for certain roles is within His purview and I don’t question it.  I simply know what I know and do what He tells me to do.

I cried out to God on one occasion concerning my role as a Prophetess and said, “But Father, they don’t believe a word that I say”.  He told me this:  “Get in line with the rest of the prophets because they didn’t believe them either.”  As you might imagine, that took the stress out of the situation for me.  I’ll simply share what He tells me when He tells me to do so.  In today’s post, I will be explaining a concept from the Bible in the way that He gave it to me.  God explained to me the sacrifice of His Son Jesus for our sins  in the form of a dream.

The Dream

In the dream, I saw two large hands, both of which were covered by surgical gloves.  The hands were huge and I knew that they were the hands of God.  The left hand had the thumb and forefinger in the “pincer position” holding an object.  (The pincer position is the way you and I would pick up something that we really didn’t want to touch.  Only the thumb and forefinger are involved with the other fingers out of the way).  The way that He was holding the object told me that it was something that he did not want to touch.  Gloves on both hands said that He did not want to contaminate Himself by the object.

Suspended between the thumb and forefinger was the most perfect little lamb.  Snow white, without blemishes, spots or discolorations, the innocence of that little lamb was almost palpable.  I could actually feel the innocence, the perfection and the trust of the little Lamb.  Not only was the little lamb totally unable to defend itself, but there was also no apparent desire to do so.  it was obvious to me that the lamb was held by someone that it unconditionally loved.  There was no crying or attempting to resist in any way.

And then I looked at the eyes of the little lamb.  The eyes were beautiful, pure blue, perfectly round and clear.  The most perfect thing that I saw in the eyes of the lamb was love, trust, and obedience.  The lamb was totally yielded to God in every way.  I felt that the lamb’s will was to do the will of the One that was holding Him.

Next, I focused on the gloved right hand of God.  That right hand held the sharpest and largest gleaming shears that I had ever seen.  The shears were pointed towards the lamb and it was obvious that the little lamb was about to lose its life.

I woke up from that dream very disturbed.  The pain of what was about to happen in my dream stuck with me for several days.  I couldn’t shake the feeling because I knew that God had a message for me.  But since I didn’t have the answer to what He was attempting to tell me, I knew that I just had to wait on His interpretation.  God told me on one occasion, “You don’t have an answer until I give you an answer”.   I knew that the dream was prophetic in nature and I simply had to wait on God to tell me what he wanted me to know.  (Meanwhile, I had decided that I wouldn’t be eating any lamb).

Interpretation of the Dream

And then one morning, totally without warning or fanfare, God gave me the answer to this perplexing dream.  Several weeks had passed without an explanation of the dream when God spoke to me and said, “I cut Him off”.  He took me back to the dream and explained it.

The hands were God’s own hands, and the gloves represented the fact that as a Holy God, He hates sin.  He loves the sinner but He hates sin.  His Son had been made to become sin for mankind so God held Him with disdain.  The fact that He was using two fingers to hold the lamb showed His hatred of sin.

The lamb of the dream, of course, was Jesus, God’s precious Son.  Jesus was Heaven’s best.  He was total love and innocence and He was totally loved.  But Jesus yielded Himself in perfect obedience to the Will of His father to serve as a sacrifice for you and me.

The Sins of Men

Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

We, sinful men and women that we were,  couldn’t save ourselves; it took the innocence and sin-free state of one who had never sinned to die for us.

That car that you stole was laid on Christ.  Every time you smoked a joint or shot up in that back alley or at a party was laid on Christ.  Each lie that you ever told, every cigarette you smoked or every abortion that you had He became.  Every murder that you committed, every illicit sexual encounter you had, every time you hooked, crooked or cheated was laid on that lamb.

Think about the billions of sins that you have committed as an individual.  Then think about the billions of people who have ever walked the face of the earth or that will walk the face of the earth before Jesus’s return.  How many sins does that collective number involve?  Can anyone number that number?  Well, every one of them was laid on the back of that innocent lamb.  Jesus became sin although He had never committed sin, ever!  Why?  So that you and I might be saved.  And God spoke and said, “I Cut Him Off!”

Explanation of Daniel 9:26

I understand Daniel 9:26 (KJV) in a way that I never understood it before.

And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself:

In completion of the explanation of the dream, the right hand of God showed me the instrument of death in the form of razor-sharp shears.  Fortunately for me, He didn’t show me the blood that was shed when Jesus was slain, but I saw enough in the dream to know what those sharp shears would do next.  The blood of the innocent lamb would be shed.

Explanation of Isaiah 53

Finally, God took me to the Book of Isaiah 53 which the dream perfectly explains.

Isaiah 53 King James Version (KJV)

53 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?

For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.

He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.

He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.

And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.

10 Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.

11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

Future information possible

There may be more to come on this topic; there may be more to share about this dream because the words, “I cut him off” may have more meaning than I know at this point.  If he gives me further information I will certainly share it.  What I do know is that God HIMSELF made the sacrifice of His Son; His Son endured the pain, and they both did it all for us.

The Magnitude of the Father’s and Son’s Sacrifice.

Perhaps sharing the dream that God gave me will provide an amplified understanding of the Father and Son’s roles in our salvation.  Hopefully, men and women will have a better understanding of the extent of their love and the depth of their sacrifice for us.  Every little bit helps in our understanding of this important subject.

The Blood of Jesus

The Christian Hymn:  Nothing but the Blood of Jesus extols the value of Jesus’s blood for us.

What can wash away my sin?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus;
What can make me whole again?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

Oh! precious is the flow
That makes me white as snow;
No other fount I know,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

Closing Thoughts

In closing, my question for you is, what will you do with the blood of Jesus?  how will you respond to God’s sacrifice of His son for you?  Will you allow Jesus to apply His blood to your sins so that you may receive eternal life?  It is a choice and my prayer is that you will make a wise choice.  If you choose to accept God’s gift of His Son for your salvation, here is your next step:  Repeat these or similar words and believe them with all of your heart:

Father, forgive me of all of my sins.  I accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.  If you save me I will live for you for the rest of my life.  Give me the power to live a life that is pleasing to you.  Give me the Holy Ghost.

God loves you; Jesus died for you and He wants to give you eternal life.  May God bless you.  Click on the link below to learn more about your new life in Christ.  https://www.FGHT.org
